ROSIE JONES: WORK IN PROGRESS
Join Rosie Jones, star of Taskmaster UK, as she road-tests new material ahead of her upcoming tour. As seen on Live At The Apollo, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg and Out of Order.
Rosie Jones has quickly made a household name for herself, but is still striving for national treasure status. She’s the star of Out of Order, hosted Channel 4’s hard-hitting documentary Am I a R*tard, and fronted comedy travel series Mission: Accessible and BAFTA-nominated Trip Hazard. As an actor, Rosie has appeared in Silent Witness, Casualty, and Call the Midwife, proving her versatility across both drama and comedy.
Her TV credits include Taskmaster, Live at the Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show, The Royal Variety Performance, QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, Mock the Week, and The Ranganation, alongside writing for Netflix’s Sex Education and starring in her own Channel 4 Comedy Blap Disability Benefits which will return as a full series in the near future.
Rosie’s bestselling children’s book series The Amazing Edie Eckhart has earned praise from Jacqueline Wilson who described the first in the series as ‘fresh, funny and ultra cool’, while her recent non-fiction release Moving On Up offers funny and reassuring advice to children facing big changes.
Rosie’s debut international tour Triple Threat earned her a nomination for Most Outstanding Show at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, touring to sold out venues across the UK and Ireland, and filming her stand-up special at Brighton’s Theatre Royal. She’ll return to Melbourne in 2025 with a brand-new show.
